My Background

Photography as Communication

Photography as Communication

 In 1971 I began my passion with photography with the purchase of a Nikon F2, and 28mm, 50mm and 135mm Nikkor lenses.

  • I participated in various camera clubs to gain a wider base of knowledge and experience.
  • From a National Geographic Photography Series of lectures, I learned many new techniques from some of the best photographers in the world.
  • I attended the Nikon School to further my expertise.
  • I  continue to read various publications and participate in many forums to learn new and advanced techniques in photography.
  • I have won several awards in juried photographic exhibits,  as well as Nikon Photo Competitions.
